This Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy ("Policy") forms part of TAXSEV's Terms of Service and applies to every booking made through the platform, operated by Nowfillit Technologies Private Limited ("TAXSEV", "we", "us"). By completing payment for a booking, you agree to this Policy.
In short
Once you pay for a booking on TAXSEV, it's locked in: no refunds, no cancellations, no rescheduling, for any reason connected to your own decision, your documents, or a regulator's outcome. The only exceptions are a genuine payment error on our end (Section 3) or TAXSEV itself failing to ever assign an expert to your booking (Section 4).
The moment your payment for a booking is successfully processed, the booking is confirmed, TAXSEV's facilitation fee is earned, and the assigned expert may begin work immediately, sometimes within minutes. Because of this, we don't offer a refund for a change of mind, dissatisfaction with an expert's professional opinion, a delay or rejection by a government authority, documents you submitted turning out to be incorrect or incomplete, failing to respond to your assigned expert, or simply choosing not to use a service you've already paid for. This applies equally whether your expert has already started work or hasn't yet.
A confirmed booking can't be cancelled, and a scheduled call or advisory session can't be moved to a different time, regardless of whether your expert has reviewed your documents, started a filing, or not yet touched your case at all. If you're unavailable at the confirmed time, miss the session, or don't respond during the booked slot, the session is treated as delivered and closed, and we won't offer an alternative slot.
Statutory fees, filing charges, and other government or third-party payments collected as part of a booking follow the same rule: they're non-refundable once paid. TAXSEV doesn't control government approval timelines, portal uptime, or a regulator's final decision, and none of these give rise to a refund.
The one situation this Policy does refund is a genuine technical failure in the payment itself, not in the service: you were charged twice for the same booking, or a payment was deducted but no booking was ever created because of a system error. Report either of these to us within 3 business days of the transaction with your booking ID or transaction reference; if we confirm the error, we'll refund it within 7 business days. This exception does not extend to a valid, successfully created booking, and we're not responsible for delays your bank, UPI provider, or the payment gateway introduces on their end once we've released a refund.
Nothing in this Policy limits your right to a refund where TAXSEV itself fails to assign any expert at all to a confirmed, paid booking within a reasonable time, through no fault of your own. Being unhappy with the outcome of a service that was actually delivered, or with a regulator's decision, is not the same thing and is not covered by this Section; see Section 1.
As explained in our Terms of Service, TAXSEV is a technology platform that connects you with independent Chartered Accountants; it doesn't itself render the professional service or guarantee any outcome. A regulatory rejection, a business result you didn't want, or dissatisfaction with advice actually given are accordingly not grounds for a refund under this Policy.
If you have a concern about a charge, contact our support team first. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card network without doing so first may result in suspension or termination of your account and recovery action against you. A refund or chargeback claim made on false grounds is treated as misuse of the platform under our Terms of Service.
By completing payment for a booking, you confirm that you've read and understood this Policy, that you accept its no-refund, no-cancellation, and no-rescheduling terms outside the exceptions in Sections 3 and 4, and that you accept services on TAXSEV as process-driven and expert-led, with the outcome not guaranteed by the platform.
This Policy is governed by the laws of India and is subject to the same dispute-resolution process, arbitration seat, and jurisdiction set out in Section 15 of our Terms of Service.
To report a duplicate payment, a payment deducted without a booking being created, or a booking that never received an assigned expert, contact us at support@taxsev.com with your booking ID and transaction details, or reach out through our Contact page.
